This movie was a Jennifer Lopez vehicle. She had never met
Jim but was impressed with his performance in the “Thin Red Line” (1998) and insisted he play the
part of her love interest (“Catch”). Personally, I thought Jim stole the movie. 😳 When I saw it, I
assumed he was the main character. The movie is a sweet love story and Jim is both smokin’ and
smoldering hot 🔥🔥
This was the first movie – and first time – I saw Jim. I was totally mesmerized by his eyes and
enchanted by his smile. 🥰 Jim imbibed the character “Catch” with an exquisite ethereal quality that
Jim portrays better than anyone (maybe, because he has an intense and profound ethereal quality
himself 🥰). Jim initially turned the movie down because he felt it would interfere with the prep of
an upcoming movie (some of you might know it, “The Count of Monte Cristo”). However, Dennis Quaid
called him and suggested he reconsider. So, a big THANK YOU 🤗 to Dennis Quaid. 😊
