This film is an American Western with the story revolving
around four friends (‘Lefty Brown’ [Bill Pullman], ‘Edward Johnson’ [Peter Fonda], ‘Tom Harrah’
[Tommy Flanagan], and ‘Gov. Jimmy Bierce’ [Jim Caviezel]), with a long history; the friendship takes
a terrible turn when greed and progress overshadow their interactions.

This is the first Western I’ve seen Jim in. He had a part
in Kevin Costner’s version of “Wyatt Earp” (1994) but I’ve not seen that film. In this, Jim plays a
pivotal role as Montana’s first Governor. Jim’s character is ruthless and not a “good guy”. The film
is a good watch; however, Jim’s character doesn’t have as much screen time as I would like
(admittedly, I prefer Jim to be in almost every scene 🤷♀️).
